FMP’s commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation has always been key to our success. As we continue to evolve, so do the expectations and needs of our employees. In response to employee feedback indicating a desire for more consistency and impact in how we recognize excellent work, we introduced FMPpreciate, our redesigned recognition program. This program reflects not only what our employees value, but also what we recognize as elements of healthy, high performing workplaces: real-time appreciation, meaningful rewards, and genuine care for employees as individuals.
Why We Refreshed Our Program
The decision to update our recognition approach stemmed from recurring themes in our employee feedback system, as well as our commitment to supporting a culture where recognition is visibly aligned with our values. Employees shared a desire for more clarity around how recognition decisions were made and for more opportunities to celebrate great work across the board. The new program addressed two critical themes centered around fair rewards and acknowledgement; areas we identified as essential to enhancing engagement and culture.
By broadening our framework and increasing the scope of recognizable achievements, our updated program aims to ensure every employee feels like they have opportunities to be appreciated.

FMPpreciate focuses on three different types of recognition activities that seek to celebrate, support, and reward high performers:
- Recognize Outstanding Performance FMPpreciate highlights employee achievements throughout the year, from everyday contributions to major efforts that move the organization forward. Recognition utilizes monetary and non-monetary avenues, and is delivered in a timely manner to ensure the reward resonates with the employee.
- Celebrate Milestones Tenure and birthday celebrations remain an important part of our culture. FMPpreciate includes spotlight moments and small tokens of appreciation that honor employee loyalty and life milestones.
- Provide Support During Challenging Times Recognition isn’t only about achievements. FMPpreciate also emphasizes compassion through offering thoughtful gestures when employees face personal hardships, medical challenges, or family emergencies. These expressions of care underscore our commitment to supporting employees as whole people.

Creating a More Accessible Framework
FMPpreciate also creates additional types of recognition in several meaningful ways and enables more people to provide recognition, ensuring employees have more options for appreciation across the organization. Most notable are:
- Employee-to-Employee Recognition Recognizing a colleague’s effort shouldn’t be complicated. Our program provides accessible tools for employees to recognize one another authentically and in real time, including: our internal feedback system to submit kudos, traditional thank you cards, ecards, and customizable Certificates of Recognition. These activities encourage a culture where appreciation is frequent, informal, and shared across teams and roles.
- Spot Awards FMPpreciate incorporates formal recognition opportunities through structured, monetary awards that acknowledge exceptional performance. A menu of spot awards is available to supervisors and project leads. Spot awards effectively recognize exceptional short-term performance or contributions.
- Superior Achievement Awards These executive-nominated monetary awards highlight extraordinary accomplishments tied to complex assignments, highly visible projects, or long-term efforts.
FMPpreciate is an investment in our people and our culture. By expanding recognition opportunities and creating consistent ways to celebrate employees, we are building a workplace where appreciation thrives.
Most importantly, FMPpreciate echoes what we value most: a community where achievements are celebrated and people feel supported through all of life’s milestones and moments.
